This is a famous art work that photographed.In this picture its sharing a feeling that straight in side from the creator of this work.I know the name its tracey emin.In this picture its not a beautiful art treat for the viewers its the words in the art work is contacting with viewers.This art work is abstract style I think because its all about the letters after reading it some people may be don't get the feeling because they dont know about the life of tracey emin.I am not only looking at the letters I can also find some different colors.but the main color of the art work is pink back ground  and all sort of designed colors and cuttings can see in each letter box.The style of this art work will say that its creator is a women .I think the art work is also explaining some of the hard times in her life like 'I dont expect to be a mother but I do expect to die alone'. If this art work looking from out side the meanings its just looks normal but after known the life of tracey emin it will have lots of meaning in it.

In this image I can see a lady lying in front of stone in graveyard it can be a army graveyard this picture giving some emotional feelings.I don't know who is the photographer but the creator of this image is trying to tell a story through this image. We can expect the lady is in front of her loved one.I expecting this is army grave yard and not too old.

• The Image in the left side I find that in this image is about capitalism.This image showing current situation.First thing that anyone can recognize is red color writing at the bottom of the pic it feel like cocacola logo also we can see two kids with different life stages one fat other with poverty.The picture showing more political difference.I think this image is against capitalism, Image showing the world is still not equal.This image is not real its 3 picture merged. But the artist need a meaningful picture so this image is so powerful.creator of this i age trying to express what kind of difference can made by capitalism in different countries.I can identify through the image of kids in this picture that they are from different side of the world. In this image the quality of the work is not important I think the artist is looking to communicate with people.when we looking at this picture everybody can understand what exactly in the creator mind.

This is the last day of teaching and next lesson will be the power point presentation. Today started with a power point presentation on Influence this will help me to understand how I can present my presentation on next day.

I start to create my power point presentation about abstract expressionism.Through the presentation I can Understand about abstract expressionism. I did research on internet about it , I found that it was a post world war 2 art movement creating art in a abstract style.

Today started with more into Reflective Learning Journal and some RLJ exercise.Neil gave us sheet ,In that some questions about RLJ. I want to understand more about Reflective Learning Journal. I did understand little bit more after I answer the questions.
                                                Neil showed us some old reflective learning journals and we have to describe about it its a group exercise  so our group got a new media journal , a blog that printed, It is not that good but the blog saying about everyday what he did and not showing more study's out side the class.My aim is to do better journals on future. I want get experience on writing the reflective learning journal.
 After the group exercise Neil start to gave us some tips on our power point presentation.I am selected as No. 2 on presenting , My subject was Abstract expressionism

Class started with lesson on academic writing.Neil start to talk about academic writing I know that for a degree level course need academic writing, Neil showed us a pdf file in moodle that can help with academic writing. I know that for this level course I have to improve my writing on academic level.

In this web site I found more information on academic writing. I think it will help me on my writing, I want to research more in to this and I would like to see some examples of academic writing.

After an introduction to academic writing Neil moved to Essay writing ,different type of essays and its structure. First Neil ask to students what is essay ? From the answers I understand that essays are lots of word and writing on different subjects , description, documentation, information,debate.In class Neil described about it, I understand that there are many type of essays and writings. Some of them are case study, reflection. all these are writing in different style. I understand that essays are writing in a order or structure, Introduction - main body-conclusion.
 After that we start to looking at Harvard Referencing. For more understanding on Harvard referencing Neil gave us some questions to answer and added a file to moodle this will help me.

Today started with introduction to assignment -1.Neil told us about how this assessment 1 going to do .This assessment need my all work as portfolio and a commentary on evaluating all the researched materiel's from secondary and primary sources.
                                               Next we looked at how analysis works.first in class we star to analysis our new course with a positive and challenging view, Neil ask to students about what is the positiveness of starting a new course in the college.I did understand the view point of some students,  first day to the college is Challenging for most students and I understand the positive side of it getting new experience and new skills from the course creative and doing something for our self. and there is some challenging's Academic writing, meeting new people, work load etc.

After this we start to analysis the art work, first how I can analyse an art work. I think I can start with formal qualities, formal qualities are size, materiel's, techniques, texture tone,mood.Then context its saying about when, where, history of the art, and about the artist. At last intentions, how the art looks.

 
The picture I am showing here is the The Execution of lady Jane grey. This is one of the art work that Neil gave us to analyse.

The formal qualities of this art is, its a oil painting, creating a mood , dark shades and colors, looks religious
and the context is the art work is looks old and its from London art gallery its illustrative.

Today Neil Started with a presentation on What is Art? and explaining about aesthetics of art's, who deciding what is art?,and art history.In this lesson I made understandings about what is art. "art is everything in human culture that possesses  produce aesthetic properties " this is the definition for art in the power point presentation. I have my own definition to art but I don't know how much it will fit to the question what is art.
For me art is a silent language that speaking between artist and public(people), First I didn't understand about art aesthetics later on i made some research through internet, then I got more information on this.(http://atheism.about.com/od/philosophybranches/p/Aesthetics.htm)  Aesthetics is sense of perception,to perceive, perceptible by the senses. There is rules and principles of aesthetic as they apply to art. There are lots of artists in the world but who decides what is art? I did understand more about the art through this power point presentation.  after this presentation I can say there are two type of arts one is fine art and another one is applied art.I am studying New media so New media is an applied art .Also in this section Neil gave us a sheet that explain  how can we analyse art work. this sheet is very help full to me for analyzing an art work
       In class students are asking doubts and questions to Neil about art and analyzing art work.After this Neil gave us a small paper to write about what I am looking forward to this course and what is the most challenging thing in this course. I wrote  designing my ideas with 3D and 3D design it self.For me most challenging thing in this course is writing reflective learning journal  I know that I have to practice it by writing every day at the end of the lesson.
       After this I got sheet that asking questions on espoused theory versus theory in use I have to answer that questions.I think this type of questions will help me to explore my self and about my real thoughts about this course.

Investigation,Reflection& Expression, My first Module at the college with Neil Wood, First thing on the day was Neil give us a Introduction about Reflective Learning Journals and he gave us lecture.This is my first experience on writing and learning about  Reflective Learning Journals.Then Neil gave us brief on Investigation,Reflection& Expression. Then Neil starts lecture on this module and conversation's with students about understanding on IRE.After that every student in the class had a small piece of paper in that paper there is a subject that need to research and present as power point presentation. I selected my subject Abstract Expressionism.In this first section of our module Neil talk about Time management,I try to understand How I can manage my time for studying.Neil gave a time table for mapping average term time in a week and all personal& leisure commitments. I added my times in the map. From this moment I can see there is lots of time for me to sped for studying in home time because I have only two and half days of class in my college so I can spend my time in home for studying and working on my projects and assignments.I understood that my projects from college on 3D design need more research and work so I need more time out side the class to spend on my work.
                                                           After the time management Neil start study skills I start to understand the condition needed for studying. I will try to apply this conditions in my time. I understand that I have to set time and goals.Neil gave us a hand out that explain about study skills.
