Reflective practice

To day we are going to Oxford for educational visit.I will record images using my phone camera.I reached at college about 8:30 all students are there waiting for the bus.About 9 o clock the bus reached at college after that we started our journey to Oxford. I never been to Oxford before.About 2 hr later we reached at Oxford   and Neil showed started to walk to a famous museum called Ashmolean museum of Art and Archaeology this museum was very interesting especially I always want to look at and to know more about Egyptian archaeology.In this museum I find out some Egyptian collection this was wonderful. I took too many photograph of that.

To day section was about art work analysis, This is the same type of analysis that I had done back in first module.I know that art work analysis has formal qualities, context and intention.All student have to analysis on Neil's own bronze sculpture this  art work was wonderful. Neil told us this was made inspired from dance movements.Last lesson ask us to bring some art work that we have done so I took my on going street light design in today and analysis that in front of students.I explained about my intention on this street light project and how I developed that design.Also we had a chat about Oxford trip I have to pay for it today £15 pound. 

Reflective practice

To day Neil wood started with what is reflective writing how this can improve students. Reflective writing is record & review giving you new perspective of every day activities, This will help self developing through documenting and showing the evidence on that. For me I understand that I have to show the evidence of what I doing in New Media and reflect on that in blog.To days lesson give me an understanding of 7 elements in reflective practice.

2. contextualization
3. analyse
4. critique
5. evaluate
6. theorize
7. synthesis
This is the 7 elements for a proper reflective writing
Neil gave us home work in today's lesson.
I have to select 3 past reflective learning journals and rewrite them based on 7 elements
then select 2 more entries from the past 7 days and write RLJ.

Reflective practice

From the start of our course all students have to write reflective learning journal to reflect up on their practice in day by day working experience. Reflective practice is record of day by day activities and comments on successors and failures,aspirations and ideas,This is for developing the skills with reflecting on their own activities.In my personal opinion Reflective learning journal writing was hard for me this year I think it will get better next year,I am considering to develop my English language more next year with support from college.In this year I didn't write about every day activities in my learning journal. To day Neil wood started new module.This module runs parallel to other 4 modules, This module will give opportunity to evaluate the progress of my strength and weakness.In this module we are going a trip for museums and get reflect on that.I understand this years reflective learning journal is not up to standard I have to write more on my activities spend more time with it.for next day I have to take all my blog reflective learning journal printed out and take that to class for review.

Analysing visual images -3

This is a famous art work that photographed.In this picture its sharing a feeling that straight in side from the creator of this work.I know the name its tracey emin.In this picture its not a beautiful art treat for the viewers its the words in the art work is contacting with viewers.This art work is abstract style I think because its all about the letters after reading it some people may be don't get the feeling because they dont know about the life of tracey emin.I am not only looking at the letters I can also find some different colors.but the main color of the art work is pink back ground  and all sort of designed colors and cuttings can see in each letter box.The style of this art work will say that its creator is a women .I think the art work is also explaining some of the hard times in her life like 'I dont expect to be a mother but I do expect to die alone'. If this art work looking from out side the meanings its just looks normal but after known the life of tracey emin it will have lots of meaning in it.

In this image I can see a lady lying in front of stone in graveyard it can be a army graveyard this picture giving some emotional feelings.I don't know who is the photographer but the creator of this image is trying to tell a story through this image. We can expect the lady is in front of her loved one.I expecting this is army grave yard and not too old.

• The Image in the left side I find that in this image is about capitalism.This image showing current situation.First thing that anyone can recognize is red color writing at the bottom of the pic it feel like cocacola logo also we can see two kids with different life stages one fat other with poverty.The picture showing more political difference.I think this image is against capitalism, Image showing the world is still not equal.This image is not real its 3 picture merged. But the artist need a meaningful picture so this image is so powerful.creator of this i age trying to express what kind of difference can made by capitalism in different countries.I can identify through the image of kids in this picture that they are from different side of the world. In this image the quality of the work is not important I think the artist is looking to communicate with people.when we looking at this picture everybody can understand what exactly in the creator mind.
